For those who have Non-Linear RF simulators, you may download our example files as templates. The example files are set up to allow one to extract Zin and Zout specified frequency and output power. User may change the transistor and other parameters such as frequency and supply voltage to obtain other values of Zin and Zout. These files are set up with optimizers. To tune for maximum power and gain, it is best to tune either the input match elements or output match elements, but not both at the same time. These files contain basic equations needed to calculate and display information such as Power Out, Gain, efficiency, etc. These files are meant to be aids for design engineers to get a quick start in using RF simulation software to design high power RF amplifiers.
